Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album, was an attempt to return to the classic sextet structure, and an even more consistent and powerful effort that had a more grittier edge. Its edgier sound was indicative of the maturation of group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's greater virtuosity on drums, and an improved, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
